SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed regarding the significant amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA sassa status services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional sassa office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The support position designed for intervention encounters a large influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
